Shorts of a Time Lord: Fifth Doctor

On an ancient cobbled street crowds were gathered around a big elaborately ornate fountain that was adorned with aquatic mythological motifs.  The immense crowds were looking at it with admiration and awe. Tiny flashes from small cameras went off every now and then without stopping.  The people in the crowd were dressed as differently as they could be, however one of them was slightly different than the rest.
This young man had medium length sandy blonde hair and piercing brown eyes which were hidden behind golden wireframe spectacles.  He wore a pair of white tennis shoe-like shoes, an open-necked buttoned up shirt with orange linings and orange question marks embroidered on the lapels; which was tucked into red, golden-yellow, and white stripped trousers. Over the shirt he wore a knitted sweater with a red and blue pattern on the top of it. On top of all this he wore a cream colored frock-coat with orange piping.  To complete the look he had a stick of celery attached to the left lapel of the coat.
He stood there and admired everything in front of him with a sigh of relief. After a few minutes he took of his spectacles and stored them in one of his pockets and from an inner coat pocket he withdrew a bundle that opened up to be a white hat with an orange speckled band and placed it upon his head.  He headed up the road to meet two very different people. One was a smartly dressed ginger-haired young man and the other a young woman with brown hair wearing a short skirted multi-colored dress. He approached them and greeted them.
“Doctor, this place is wonderful.  Rome is so peaceful compared to Gallifrey.” The young woman said in a distinct Australian accent. The Doctor said, “Indeed it is Tegan.  Now what do you say we go get some late afternoon coffee?” He asked as he approached small cafĂ©.
Coffee please.”  The Doctor said in perfect Italian to a hostess as he and his two companions sat at an outdoor table to watch the crowd of people walking by. After drinking their coffees and settling the bill, the Doctor and his friends made their way out into the streets talking very excitedly amongst them. With the Doctor serving as a tour guide of sorts, and being in a very merry and happy mood as they made their way through the very heart of Rome.
